Official AJSF State Championships are open to any member of the AJSF in their state of residence, unless their resident state has no State AJSF Club. (i.e.: Jane lives in New York, but has no AJSF State Club in NY, Jane can submit a request to the AJSF and a surrounding state's AJSF Club for permission to compete in their state tournament. The top 10 skaters in each division of each state qualifies to compete in the AJSF Regional Championships.

The AJSF Regional Championships are open to skaters who have qualified for Regional Competition. If you have qualified for this competition, your regions manager will contact your affiliated State Club to inform them.

The AJSF National Championships are open to those who have placed in the top 25 of their division at a Regional Championship.
